Ik wou dat ik kon zeggen dat ik met verbazing de interview met de Telegraaf heb zitten lezen, maar nee ik kan dat soort leugens niet meer opbrengen. Het is dat soort rhetoriek, dat soort angst aanjagen dat typerend is voor het ronduit beschamend politiek maken over de rug van slachtoffers dat u graag doet.  Het was een grappig interview, dat zeker wel. Ik vond het erg amusant hoe u elke keer weer hetzelfde riedeltje herhaalde zonder eigenlijk echt antwoord te geven op de meeste vragen. Maar er is een groot probleem, het klopt van geen kant, en het is passend bij iemand die alleen maar bevestiging zoekt van zijn eigen mening en niet kijkt naar de feiten en weigert iets te leren.  Het is vriendelijk dat je nu van 'alle terroristen zijn moslim' naar 'bijna alle terroristen zijn moslim' ben gegaan maar dit klopt gewoon feitelijk niet. I am so saddened that I had to make this post about the assanine assumptions people make in the light of the Syrian refugee problems and the Paris attacks, but if I hear one more person say: "Not all muslims are terrorist, but all terrorists are muslim!!", I am going to get my friends Gerardo's pile of printing paper and hit you over the white superiority complex bleached heads with hit. Mijn hoofd is op dit moment bij Parijs. Nog steeds en passievol. Ik hou in de gaten op FB of er misschien mensen die ik ken bij het concert waren, ik ga straks op de schrijfsites of mijn medeschrijvers bij NaNoWriMo veilig zijn. De Guardian app updates mijn tablet volle kracht werkende. Ook heb ik besloten om sowieso gewoon naar Parijs te gaan volgende maand, voor de klimaattop, als mijn lichaam het toelaat. Verschrikt kijk ik naar de foto's en video's, en soms huil ik. De kleine video geschoten vanuit een kamer bij de nooduitgang van Bataclan brak mijn hart. Ik kan niet beschrijven hoe mijn hart vol is met de ervaringen van al die slachtoffers. Maar ik moet even IETS HEEL BELANGRIJKS KWIJT. Ik wil mensen er aan herinneren dat racisme geen plaats heeft in de discussie over de verschrikkelijke terroristische aanslagen die bij alle mogelijkheden toch van IS vandaan komen.
